We manufacture patterns in polystyrene for tool manufacturing, starting from customer's solid CAD data in NX or CATIA V5 Format.

During manufacturing we optimize pattern structure for foundry need and prepare eventual countermeasure for foundry technical development (supports, form given chillers, hammer peening chillers).

Our paperless process dispays all technical documents on digital devices (monitors and tablets), reducing energy, toner and paper consumption and allowing a better and quicker information for our technicians.

All patterns are totally milled and assembled using our 4 big milling machines with table 6 x 3 m. Massifond S.p.A. has structured its process giving central focus to big castings for tool manufacturing in automotive industry, dimensioning all facilities for this casting size handling.

A virtual buy-off with ATOS-GOM can be performed if required, avoiding this way any physical need of customer’s buy-off on site: we are sending scanned pattern digital data in GOM-Inspect format to our customers, who are verifying patterns consistency directly in their own office.
